Modification of an existing teach area adding a signal of irregular product.
After optimizing the product with 2D plot it is possible to choose Add to Teach Area by pressing +.
Add irregular product
Feed irregular products through the metal detector to add the corresponding signals.
In the examplethe original teach area is extended by the measured. signals.
Note: Metal is not detected during this process. Therefore this mode ends automatically after three minutes.
Confirm result
Press FREEZE.
Press:
- OK to save the new teach area / stop FREEZE,
- + to collect more irregular product signals or
- ESC to quit and keep the old teach area.
In the example the products that would have been rejected are now within the teach area and thus in the desired range. They are not rejected anymore.
Repeat this process if other irregular products cause false metal alarms.
