A general purpose delay relay function.
24V inputs and outputs in IN/OUT MENU and on SHARK 2 mainboard terminal strip are used to build an ON-delayed or OFF-delayed version of an input signal.
IN/OUT MENU settings
Set an input to timer start:
SYSTEM MENU > IN/OUT MENU > IN > timer start

Set an output to timer off delay and/or timer on delay:
SYSTEM MENU > IN/OUT MENU > OUT > timer on delay / timer off delay

Timer settings
The ON and OFF DELAY timing is controlled by two settings in the BRC MENU:
Go to SYSTEM MENU > BRC MENU

TIMER DELAY UNIT
Available since Shark 2A firmware V1.52f06.
Set the unit of the delay between ‘ms’ (time-based) and ‘mm’ (distance-based).
Range: ms / mm
TIMER ON DELAY ms
Used to build an ON-delayed version of an input signal.
The delay corresponds the value set for TIMER ON DELAY ms.
Range: 0 – 99990 ms
24V output signal:
HIGH when input ‘timer start’ is high for longer than TIMER ON DELAY ms.
LOW immediately when input ‘timer start’ is low.
TIMER OFF DELAY ms
Used to build an OFF-delayed version of an input signal.
The delay corresponds the value set for TIMER OFF DELAY ms.
Range: 0 – 99990 ms
24V output signal:
HIGH immediately when input ‘timer start’ is high.
LOW when input ‘timer start’ is low for longer than TIMER OFF DELAY ms.
