Set up Speed mm/s to the product velocity for optimum signal evaluation
Note: The correct SPEED mm/s setting is absolutely essential for correct metal detection. A wrong setting will significantly diminish the metal detection sensitivity.
| SHARK BD | Adjust the setting to the belt speed at which the product is passed through the metal detector. |
| SHARK BD supplied with conveyor HQ | SPEED mm/s is preset by CASSEL. |
| SHARK GF / GF compact | 2000 mm/s is the recommended value for free fall applications. |
| Others | Set SPEED mm/s to the speed of the product currently passing the metal detector. |
Maximum tolerance for this setting is ± 10% to ensure correct metal detection.
