Other settings in the SYSTEM MENU are factory preset. Only touch these settings AFTER you carefully read the manual.

SPEED mm/s

Set the SPEED mm/s to the speed the product is passing through the metal detector (within a maximum ± 10% tolerance).

The metal detector uses the speed information for many important automatic calculations, such as noise canceling, metal detection enhancement and reject timing.

Caution!
A wrong setting for SPEED mm/s can significantly diminish the metal detection sensitivity.

Caution!
At slow speeds below 130 mm/s (8 m/min) is the metal detection sensitivity reduced. Sensitivity reduction factors are as this:
@ 16 mm/s (1m/min) = 3.0x bigger test piece diameter
@ 32 mm/s (2m/min) = 1.8x bigger test piece diameter
@ 84 mm/s (5m/min) = 1.4x bigger test piece diameter
@ 116 mm/s (7m/min) = 1.2x bigger test piece diameter

Default: 500 [millimeters per second]
Range: 10 – 9999 [millimeters per second]

LANGUAGE

sets the language of the display texts.

Range: German, English, Ukranian, Slovakian, Finnish, Chinese, Hungarian, Lithuanian, Italian, Czech, Korean, Swedish, Dutch, Turkish, Hebrew, Polish, French, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Greek, Portuguese
